Since MoST was first developed eleven years ago, we have been continually rolling out updates directly to the system, adding new functions based on both client and public demand. Our development team has been working around the clock to make sure all clients have a reliable, stable, easy to use system that just does what it should, and more.
In our efforts to further develop MoST, we are now upgrading the "document collaboration" function, where MoST users are able to put a document up for peer review, with anyone assigned permission being able to comment on each paragraph, table, and image within the document. This tool has proven itself of great value to many large organisations, government departments, and student groups. Through this tool, selected members are able to simultaneously leave their feedback / comments on one master document, without having to go through the messy process of tracking changes or document version numbers.
We are now looking for some insight on your preferences. Whether you are an existing, or prospective client of Expert Developments, or simply interested in all things web, we value your input.
Our initial considerations are:
- To what extent should commenting be allowed? Should comments on comments on comments be permitted?
- How would you like second level comments identified, if in place? (colour coded, tabbed in?)
- Is there any particular search functionality you would like to see in place?
- Is there anything else that you would like to see in place for this tool?
Please leave a comment below, or contact us with your suggestions on how we can upgrade our document collaboration tool. If there are any other functions, or tools you would like us to look into, let us know. We're always on the lookout for more ways to make your business / workplace more efficient through simple online tools.
